Why this is not the retail version
At AED 24,000 a person the comparison is not a holiday package. It is what this board already spends — a two-day offsite at a Dubai five-star with an international facilitator flown in runs AED 8,000–12,000 a person once the facilitator's fee, the meeting floor and the dinners are counted, for two working blocks and no distance from the office.
This buys three working blocks over five days, 4,000 km from anyone who might interrupt them. The single most valuable feature is the one nobody puts in a brochure: nobody can be pulled into a meeting at 11:00. Phones are on a different continent's working hours, the office cannot reach them casually, and the day between session two and session three is deliberately empty because that is where the actual conversations happen — on a chairlift, on a walk, over a long lunch.
Single occupancy is not a luxury choice, it is a functional one. Board members do not share rooms, and a proposal that assumes twin share tells the client immediately that we have not done this before.
Sell this to eight to fourteen people who make decisions, once a year, against a strategic planning cycle. It is not an incentive trip, it is not a reward, and it should never be proposed to a whole department.
