Why this is not the retail version

C-01 is eleven hours, a facilitated programme, three meals and a full media crew. This is six hours, one meal, a fire and the property. What it costs the client is an evening instead of a working day — which for a team that cannot lose a Tuesday is the difference between booking something and booking nothing.
The thing it does better than the day version is the fire. A farmhouse in daylight is a nice venue. At nine in the evening with a fire lit and forty people sitting on the floor around it, something happens that a hotel function room has never once produced, and that is the entire product.
Seven days' notice, no programme to design, no weather-dependent activity. When a manager decides on Sunday that the team needs something before month-end, this is the only package in the catalog that can be delivered that week.
